Using the BIG6™ Process for Research:
1. Define your task. (What is your topic? What are you expected to do with your topic?) Try Answers.com before starting your research (to learn a little about your topic.)
2. Plan an information-seeking strategy. This "Research Checklist" may help you complete step 2.
3. Locate sources and access information inside the sources.
4. Use the information (read and take notes!)
