Kindergarten

The Mount Prospect Kindergarten classes are "buzzing" with activity! Our curriculum uses a thematic, integrated approach to learning. All subject areas, including language arts, social studies, science, math, and health, are taught through literature-based exploration. Children in kindergarten learn through play. Activities are center-based. Centers encourage exploration, discovery, and problem-solving while developing social skills. Our goal is to create a developmentally appropriate learning environment where all children are encouraged to become independent learners.
